All the characters from this anime were once the glorious queens of the anime world. Set in a timeline where worlds compete through sports and not wars, the Cosmic Beauty Race is an important way to bring harmony to the planets.
The official website of Battle Athletes Dauindokai ReSTART has released a new promotional video for the upcoming anime. The anime will premiere in April 2021.
The video shows Kanata training for the Cosmic Beauty Race. She is the representative from Earth and has trained for the competition since her childhood.
Some of the other participants have been introduced as well. Shelley Wong befriends Kanata as soon as they meet each other. Eva Garenstein seems like the biggest rival to Kanata.
A new visual has also been released for the anime. The visual shows all the competitors in the Cosmic Beauty Race, with Kanata taking center stage.
The PV has also revealed the first three cast members of the anime as well as the staff members.

About Battle Athletes Dauindokai
Set in a distant future, the world has gotten rid of war. Athletic competitions are now used as a way to settle disputes and maintain harmony amongst the planets.
Amongst the competitions is a stage where women compete in the Cosmic Beauty race.
Akari Kanzaki, the protagonist of the series, wants to participate in the competition and enrolls at the university where athletes are trained. She makes friends and develops herself on her journey to the top.
