Behind Every Man: OWN Adds Docuseries About Women To Lineup
OWN is adding to its impressive lineup of unscripted shows with a docuseries called Behind Every Man. It will focus on the capable and solid women who helped and supported some of the most talented and admired Black men in Hollywood. The series will debut on the network in November, along with some of its other shows coming back in fall.
Every episode will focus on a duo – the famous man and the woman who remains the force behind his stable career. The struggles and sacrifices of these women have been essential in shaping the men’s careers and has helped them follow their passion.
The series features a stunning cast – multi-platinum R&B artist Usher and his mother Jonnetta Patton, gospel music artist Kirk Franklin and his wife Tammy Franklin, Grammy award-winning musician Ne-Yo and his wife Crystal Smith, multi-platinum artist Wyclef Jean and his wife Claudinette Jean and radio host DJ Envy and his wife Gia Casey.
Carlos King is serving as the executive producer of Behind Every Man. Melody Holt, from Love And Marriage: Huntsville, will host the show.
Catch Behind Every Man on OWN on Saturday, November 7th, 2020, at 10 pm ET/PT.
