Best Azumarill Build For Tera Raids In Pokémon Scarlet And Violet

Before very recently, Iron Hands was everyone’s first pick for Tera Raids. The 7-level Charizard Tera Raid revelation, however, has set Azumarill ablaze with wrath.

As a Fairy Type Pokémon, Azumarill is less vulnerable to Fire-type moves than Iron Hands. It shares the ‘Belly Drum’ and other similarly strong attacks with its owner.

Our goal is to have your Azumarill ready for the most challenging Tera Raids.

Casseroya Lake is a good place to catch azumarill. To make your Azumarill Tera-ready, you must EV train it to max out its stats. You must also teach your Pokémon the ability Belly Drum. This can be accomplished with the item ‘Mirror Herb.’

Azumarill Can Be Found Where?

Near Casseroya Lake, azumarill can be caught. You must EV train your Azumarill to max out its stats in order to make it Tera-ready. You must also teach your Pokémon the ability to belly drum. This is possible thanks to the item ‘Mirror Herb.’

Wild Tera Pokémon of Level 55 can be easily trained to higher levels. Also, it always has the Hidden Ability “Huge Power,” which doubles Azumarill’s attack power.

How To Teach Belly Drum To Azumarill?

After capturing a Pokémon, you must then train it in Azumarill, Belly Drum, and Light screen. While TM can be used to teach Light Screen, teaching Belly Drum can be more challenging.

1. To begin, you must delete one of Azumarill’s moves, leaving one empty slot. Both “Sing” and “Liquidation” should be taken out of the sentence, in my opinion. If you already have Play Rough in your deck, keep it that way.

2. Fly to Delibird Presents and purchase ‘Mirror Herb,’ which will cost 30,000 Pokédollars. Instruct your Azumarill to carry it.

3. Capture a Hariyama to teach your Pokémon the Belly Drum. Throw a quick picnic, and your Azumarill will quickly learn the move. In your Hariyama’s moveset, Belly Drum should be the only option.

Level It Up!

Once you’ve finished instructing Azumarill Belly Drum, you’ll need to raise its level. You shouldn’t venture into higher-level Raids without your Pokémon being fully leveled. Indeed, this is most aptly applied to the Charizard Tera Raid.

1. To Hyper-train your Pokémon, head to Montenevera. You’ll find an NPC who can train your Azumarill behind the Poké Center. Make sure you have Bottle Caps on hand for this assignment.

2. The following step would be to visit Chansey Supply Stores. Due to its weakness, Azumarill requires that you maximize your HP.

You’ll want about 26 HP, 26 Protein, and 1 Zinc. It’s a pricey buy, but there are ways to save money, such as using Power Bands or going on an EV train in the wilderness.

Excellent EV training can be had at Casseroya Lake. About 26 Revaroom kills are required to reach maximum IV level. By going to Summary Stats and hitting ‘L,’ you can also view your EV data. You haven’t finished training your Azumarill until it shines.

3. If it isn’t already, change Azumarill’s nature to Adamant. You can do this by giving your Pokémon Adamant Mint, which is also available at Chansey Supply Store.

When you’re done, your Azumarill will be at Level 100, fully evolved, and able to use the Belly Drum move. Your best bet against Charizard at level 100, and a great choice for use in Tera Raids.

In the 1996 video game Pokémon, players are immersed in a world where humans hunt for monsters and keep them in little plastic containers called poke-balls.

They have a supernatural ability or affinity that is tied to the element to which they are most attuned.

In Pokémon, we follow a young man named Ash Ketchum as he strives to become the best Pokémon trainer in the world.
