The fight against the Dante of the dark triads is getting intense and we can’t wait to read the upcoming Black Clover 242 spoilers and raw scans.
The clash has begun!!! Asta faces Dante of the Dark Triad and his fellow black bulls aid him. The Spade Kingdom arc has officially established itself with this epic fight.
But before we get into that, let us do a quick recap.
Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover has deeply impressed the anime community and the manga, boosted by a great adaptation, has had incredible sales. Day by day, its popularity increases.
The earlier complaints about it being generic has subsided and now, it has a huge fan following. Its magical setting draws in fantasy fans and its passionate nature has drawn in a huge number of otakus.
Black Clover Chapter 242 is set to feature more of this intriguing Spade Kingdom arc, which is the long-awaited major arc after the Reincarnation Arc.
We are currently in a 3-way invasion, taking place at Golden Dawn Quarters, Heart Kingdom and Black Bulls Hideout, executed by Zenon, Vanica, and Dante respectively.

Black Clover Chapter 241 Recap:
Chapter 241: Super Midair Battle
Asta launches his aerial slashes of Anti-Magic at Dante, who uses Gravity Magic: Presence of the Demon King. The Gravity Magic is nullified and so, Dante is forced to dodge Asta’s attacks. He immediately uses Gravity control to launch tree-spears towards Asta, seemingly stabbing him brutally.
Dante is shocked to see his attack suddenly getting undone. Asta, with Rouge on his shoulder, charges in but is dodged once more. Dante breaks into the Black Bulls hideout and discovers Vanessa, the one using Rouge to bend natural laws.
Dante is thoroughly impressed by her magic and her looks. He invites her to join to be his woman and the Dark Triad.
Vanessa shields everyone has Dante stands there, casually altering gravity to avoid Asta’s attack. But Asta is unaffected and charges in again. Asta releases his Demon Form.
He uses Black Divider, Black Meteorite to attack but is no match for Dante’s superior speed. Gauche cleverly uses his Mirror Magic to boost Asta and they successfully launch multiple homing Black Meteorites at Dante, hoping he won’t be able to dodge so many simultaneous attacks.
Black Clover 242 Spoilers:
Black Clover Chapter 242 makes us very curious about who will win the current battle. Will Asta and the Bulls successfully defeat Dante? Will someone come to aid them? Is Yami going to make his appearance? Is Dante going to win?
If Dante wins, will he capture Vanessa? We believe Dante will easily gain the upper hand if he fights seriously. So far, he has fought without breaking a sweat and he has only used 2 Magical Attacks. He keeps dodging casually. So it is highly unlikely that he gets defeated.
In Black Clover 242, we will see him sustain some minor damage from Asta and Gauche’s combination attack and that will prompt Dante into using more of his power. However, we do believe that Yami will appear and hold off Dante.
In the process, Dante will retreat and kidnap someone. Or we might see him release his Demonic powers and dominate Yami as well. Finral will be the one to escape whatever predicament befalls the Bulls and inform the Clover Kingdom about this.
Black Clover 242 can also feature the Heart Kingdom scenario. Vanica and her followers have spread through the country and we might see them wreak havoc as Queen Lolopechka prepare to fight them.
We might get introduced to more of Heart Kingdom’s mages, preferably from Tier 0.
We still have the queries about the powers and motives of the Dark Triad and we hope, the next few chapters will tell us more about these Arcane Stages.
Black Clover Chapter 242 Raw Scans and Release Date:
Black Clover manga is released raw in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. We do our best to get these raw scans to you as soon as possible. The raw scans will release on March 4, 2020.
The raws will then be taken in by multiple scanlator teams and they will take roughly a day to release the fan translations, i.e, on March 5, 2020. The fan translations will be available on ‘r/BlackClover’ subreddit along with more discussions and theories on the manga.
The official scans will be available on March 8, 2020, on Viz and Mangaplus.
