Today we are here to discuss the soon to be published Black Clover 259. Fans are extremely excited by Asta’s first real interaction with his devil. This is probably the starting of a very interesting relation that has the potential to be one of the best.
Asta’s new form is exceedingly horrifying – our hero is truly becoming demonic. However, the power doesn’t matter as much as the consequences right now. Black Clover Chapter 259 can unleash great horror on us through the repercussions suffered by our hero.
Yami is repeatedly proven to be a great captain. Not only is he strong enough to protect his squad alone, he also has the ability to inspire them to great lengths. Asta couldn’t even get up. But as soon as Yami beckoned, Asta came running. Asta owes a lot to his master and we hope he can repay some of it in this battle.

Yes, you heard it right. The Black Clover spoilers are finally here for everyone to read and I ask everyone to go read the official chapter when it releases so that you support the author and make sure Yuki Tabata continues the good work.
So Asta and Yami go against Dante in this chapter and Asta with his new form and the devils power he got starts attacking Dante. Asta’s devil arm last around 50 seconds and by the end of this chapter Dante gets defeated and his devil “Lucifer” leaves his body I think.
We even see Yami throwing his sword to Asta for him to keep it. The English raw translations are still vague so we will update it when we get more new information.
Black Clover Manga 259 Release Date:
Black Clover 259 raw scans will be released on 29th July, 2020. These will be taken up by various scanlators and they will provide us with the fan translated English version on 31st July, 2020. These aren’t the best translations or quality though. They’re just placeholders.
The official English translations for the upcoming Black Clover chapter are set to be published on August 2, 2020. They can be found on Viz, MangaPLUS, and Shonen Jump app, One Piece 986 will be released soon so you might check it out too.
Black Clover 258 Recap:
Chapter name- “A Captain’s Duty”
Asta and Yami faces a devil Dante. Dante isn’t really worried about 2 opponents. In fact, he is delighted by the entertainment. Yami asks Asta to stay right on his tail and they will attack together. Asta readily agrees. They move in against Dante at full force.
Yami and Asta attack through a bunch of boulders. Yami chops of Dante’s right arm. Dante is punching Asta with his left. Just before Asta swings his sword, Yami kicks him, sending him to the other side. Asta attacks from the right.
Dante swiftly retreats. But Yami predicted it and blows up Dante into bits again. The regeneration is quick and Dante targets Asta. As the two Black Bulls charge in together, Yami thinks that Asta’s Anti Magic powers will be the key in the battle. They have to pierce Dante with Asta’s sword. Asta on the other hand, realizes that he is holding Yami back.
Dante is filled with ecstasy as he fights, unleashing attack after attack. Asta is able to fight only because Yami is backing him. His 6 month training unlocked a lot of power but that didn’t work on Dante. He needs that power inside him that he doesn’t comprehend yet.
Asta starts talking to his Devil. They had met before but back then, the Devil was different. Asta has sensed that his Devl is angry. For some reason, the Devil wants to defeat Dante. Asta admits that he should have talked sooner. He will take a different direction now.
Asta asks his Devil to lend him some power. The Devil is amused. It agrees to share its true power. However, there are conditions. The Devil needs something in exchange. It needs a part of Asta’s body. It’s a ‘Devil’s Bargain’. Asta realizes that he must surpass his limits.
Asta knows that Yami needs him and if he can’t do that, if he can’t even handle his own Devil, he can never hope to be the Wizard King. Asta wants to be a person on whom, Captain Yami can rely on freely. With this determination, Asta agrees to the Devil’s Bargain. The Devil agrees to share more power.
Dante fights viciously. But Asta has surpassed his limits. With a smile, Yami looks proudly at his student. Asta attacks – his right arm has turned into a Devil and he had horns now. It is all the Devil power he can handle and he will come through for Yami.

Let us now take a look at Asta. This chapter proves how much potential he has. The upcoming chapter will show us Asta’s power with 1 arm. After that, we will see if both arms can be Devil-ed. Then legs and so. As long as Asta keeps his consciousness, he can increase his power. In fact, it was Dante, who said Asta might be able to use 100% devil power.
We can see if Asta is truly capable of reaching Dante or Yami’s level. But what’s more important, is the consequence. Right now, we don’t know the fate of Asta’s right arm. Is it turning Devil permanently or will the Devil control it only when Asta uses the power? What does this mean in long term usage?
Chapter 259 might also clear some facts about Asta’s Devil. Why can it lend so much power and why is it angry? Is Asta’s Devil special? We believe it is. It is probably a Devil that lives in the normal world instead of the underworld. The backstory is very important for our understanding.
