Asta is very sad and crying by the fact that he is very weak and is not able to save his comrades and he can’t save his captain as well.
The biggest reveal is the vice captain of the Black Bulls, yes you heard it right. The vice captain of the Black Bulls arrive and to everyone’s surprise he is a devil host as well and his devil’s name is “Satan”.
He is going to train Asta for the upcoming fight.

Black Clover 260 Recap:
Dante lays defeated. The Black Bulls wonder if they should restrain him or not given how powerful he is. Asta is collapsing from exhaustion but Yami grabs him with words of praise. The remaining members are overjoyed by their victory.
Gauche wakes up and Grey is filled with even more joy. Finral notices Yami approaching Dante to restrain the defeated foe. But just Yami can act, Zenon appears behind him. It’s a soundless, quick movement that no one even realized was coming.
Zenon immediately restrains Yami. He also brings out Captain Vangeance, similarly restrained and knocked out. Finral realizes that the Dark Triad has both the arcanes – World Tree Magic in William and Dark Magic in Yami. Now, their Tree of Qliphoth plan can’t be prevented anymore.
Zenon had noticed the disrupted mana flows and came to check up on the situation. He secures Dante, ashamed by the defeat. Zenon attacks Asta, trying to pierce him, but Finral immediately protects Asta. Our Protagonist can’t even move an inch.
Zenon realizes that he is out of time and tries to teleport away. Finral rallies the remaining Black Bulls to attack Zenon and prevent his escape. They all try their hands but Zenon is just too powerful. He evades them all. Even Rouge is swatted away casually.
Asta begs his Devil for more power. He doesn’t even care about the costs, simply wanting to save Yami. But the Devil points out that Asta is too weak. The trade won’t be established. And Asta can’t even move his body in the first place, let alone wield more power.
The Black Bulls look on in utter shock and despair as Yami is teleported away. The captain can do nothing but break out one last smile for his subordinates. Only Yami’s Katana remains in front of Asta.

What a shocking chapter. Yuki Tabata exceeding all expectations and went out of his way to crush the Black Bulls. In both fronts, the Black Bulls have lost their key ally, someone they looked up to. And the remaining members are all fatigued and barely useful.
Black Clover 261 will probably be an uplifting chapter. It is always darkest before the dawn. We expect reinforcements to show up. Julius Novachrono probably knows about this predicament. Two of his best squads have been ruined. If he doesn’t act now, when will he?
We expect other squad leaders and allies to show up at both the Black Bulls base and the Heart Kingdom. The Silva members will probably go to Heart Kingdom and help their sister. Their mother being defeated by Vanica, they have a personal grudge.
On the other hand, Mereoleona, Fuegoleon and the Crimson squad members might come to aid the Black Bulls. Leo has an especially good bond with Asta. Plus there is Charlotte and her love for Yami. She will definitely act now that her flame is in distress.
