Black Clover Ch 304: Mimosa Saved **** Just in Time
I spent five chapters preparing myself for Gaja’s death, and it turns out it was all for nothing. Black Clover’s chapter 304 shows Gaja coming back from his half-dead state as I realize Tabata sensei has trolled us all.
Mimosa and Rill are the ones to thank for Gaja’s survival. Rill’s Twilight of Valhalla had preserved him from feeling pain in the last few chapters. Mimosa’s Flower Princess Utopia Spell fully heals him.
When Gaja was stumbling towards Lolopechka and collapsed before he could speak, my heart leaped up to my throat. If he had died before confessing or at least before saying his last words it would’ve been too heartbreaking.
Gaja fought brilliantly in the last few chapters, and I am glad that he finally got what he deserves.
Also, can we please talk about how he got revived and wasted zero time before confessing to Lolopechka? He probably realized that they are in the middle of an all-out battle, and another chance might never come.
I hope Noelle follows his example because Asta is just too busy being an oblivious puppy.

Mimosa’s healing magic will come in handy in later battles as well. If she could drag Gaja back from death’s door, her power will be infallible when they fight against other higher-ranking devils.
For now, we only know that Gaja is alive and hope it stays that way. Did his extreme injuries affect his powers? Maybe there was some hidden price he had to pay after pushing himself so much.
Yet, I am delighted with this chapter, primarily because it ending on a warm note. I am going to etch this chapter in my mind for when death and destruction follow Zenon’s appearance.
