Black Summoner Confirms July Release Date with Battle Crazed Teaser
Isekai fanatics can add another anime to their never-ending watchlist as Black Summoner is all set to premiere next month.
Although it is a typical isekai without much of a new take on the genre, you’ll love it if you like slimes, monsters, and endless adventures.
The Black Summoner anime will be released on July 9, 2022. The latest trailer of the anime identifies some of the main characters of the series, as well as the hero’s indomitable urge to pick a fight:
After waking up in a strange place, Kelvin quickly realizes he has no memory. In the trailer, you can see his astonishment as he encounters a dropdown menu floating in the air that shows his stats.
Although he doesn’t understand what’s happening, he recognizes that his mind is itching to fight. Thus begins his adventures, where he starts by taming a slime and then defeating much bigger monsters.
Both the opening and ending themes of Black Summoner have been previewed in the trailer. The OP is “Ataman Chū Dead End” by Retobea, and the ending theme is “Wherever” by Minori Suzuki.

The major reveal in Black Summoner would be why Kelvin had traded his memories for more power. Is it because he is a pure battle junkie? Or did something so traumatizing happen to him that he wanted to forget it at all costs?
Maybe it packs an unseen match behind the mask of a typical isekai? Let’s hope it breaks our expectations and climbs the ranks of the summer 2022 anime list ranks.
