Blue Exorcist, your favorite manga about Satan’s offspring, is about to go on a long break. No, don’t worry, the mangaka isn’t sick; we are just about to get an awesome new series from Kazue Kato!
In a world of demons and exorcists, Rin Okumura and his brother are Satan’s sons. However, they have been raised by an exorcist?! Instead of siding with the demons, our hero decides to become an exorcist and hunt his own kind.
The Ao no Exorcist or Blue Exorcist Manga will be going on an 8-month hiatus! The series will resume again on Jump SQ’s issue #5 the next year, i.e, in April 2022.
If Blue Exorcist is one of your favorite series then I understand why you might be groaning in pain right now. However, Kazue Kato is sure to keep you busy with his upcoming work.
Fuyumi Ono’s Eizen Karukaya Kaiten is a famous supernatural novel that is often praised by critics. Kazue Kato will be working on the novel’s manga adaptation.
The new manga will be serialized starting September 2021 in Jump SQ’s issue #10.
Eizen Karukaya Kaiten is another famous work which involves ghosts and several other creepy elements and I can see why Kazue Kato might be the best option for its manga adaptation.
Fuyumi Ono is the creator of the famous Ghost Hunt series that has won me over with its numerous terrifying scenes as well as Naru! So you can expect the upcoming manga to be no less spine-chilling.

About Blue Exorcist
Blue Exorcist is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Kazue Katō.
In the Blue Exorcist Universe, there are two different realms called Assiah and Gehenna. Assiah is where ordinary humans live, and Gehenna is the world of demons. The only way to travel between the two worlds is by possession.
Satan, the ruler of Gehenna, decides to conquer Assiah, but to do so, he must possess a human. Unfortunately for him, he does not find a suitable vessel and hence, sends his own son, expecting him to grow into a suitable vessel.
Rin Okumura, a regular teenager with quite a temper, has no idea that his actual father was Satan. Nor did he know about being a suitable vessel. However, after eventually discovering his fate, he decides to change it and joins an academy to train to become an exorcist so that he could foil Satan’s plans.
