Fans of the manga are very hyped to see Blue Lock 102. The match is at a very crucial moment and there is so much expectation riding on this. There is a lot to do and not much time to do it.
Blue Lock is a sports manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyoki and sketched by Nomura Yusuke. It is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine and serves as its football series. Owing to its grandiose and extravagant ways, the manga has gathered a good fan following, most of whom are fans of another popular series, Kuroko no Basuke.
Isagi is only 1 and a half step into the 3 step process. He did assist Shidou and that was great. However, he hasn’t fully coexisted yet – with the other 3, he has formed a minor link but Rin remains an exception. Owing to Karasu, Isagi is very limited right now.
Blue Lock Chapter 102 will be another attempt to Isagi – now that he has overcome Karasu’s binding, he has a lot more options. He must play to his strengths and fulfil the 3 step process. As of now, Isagi doesn’t have a good shot at making the final team.
Blue Lock Manga 102 Release Date:
Blue Lock 102 raw scans will be released on September 28, 2020. These will be in Japanese; so fans need them to be translated into English. And that’s where the fan scans come in.
Luckily, the scanlation team is very competent and will publish the English version of Blue Lock Chapter 102 on 29 September, 2020. Don’t wait for an official release because there is none yet.

Chapter 101 Recap
Isagi sees the clash between Shidou and Rin and realizes how their opposing playstyles are harming the team. Having realized that they can’t play in the same team, he wonders if he can create a bridge between them. The game restarts with Rin dribbling ahead.
The ball goes Rin to Hiori to Isagi. As usual, Karasu defends Isagi – but this time, Nanase is supporting Isagi. Using this opportunity, Isagi slips behind Karasu and evades his arms. Using through passes, he gets ahead. Isagi finally gets a path to a goal – he analyses the pitch to determine the optimal scoring way.
That’s when he notices Shidou and his amazing positioning. He realizes Shidou is the best chance and shoots towards him. Isagi expects a return pass and he can score himself. However, Shidou rotates in place and score directly from the pass! The score stands A3-4B. Shisou is unbeatable in the penalty area.
With newfound hope, Isagi jumps into the game. Karasu is challenged by a double team; even Rin wants to stop him. Karasu dances around Rin – his skill is matched by Rin’s and they’re at a stalemate. Karasu makes a desperate pass ad Isagi intercepts it. It’s time for a counterattack.

The manga has become so popular that there are chances of an anime adaptation soon. Maybe Netflix will help Blue Lock side by side with the upcoming Baki Season 4.
Blue Lock Chapter 102 Discussion:
Chapter 102 of Blue Lock manga will be focusing on a steady counterattack. Isagi is currently free of Karasu’s reach – this is his chance to rise and shine. He must try and use Rin in the upcoming attack. Or he can go for the safer option of using Shidou. Either way will guarantee his assisting part.
In the next few minutes, Isagi has to use his own ego and skillset to find the optimal path. He has to map out the positions and passes and possibilities that are about to be unloaded. If he can successfully do this task, if he can use his teammates in the process, then he satisfies the second condition of being able to coexist.
Lastly, the assertion part. Blue Lock 102 might force the fact that Isagi can’t assert himself; not at his level. Skill wise, he is mediocre and everyone on the pitch knows that. So if not skill, where can he shine? He can shine at his ego and chemical reactions – he has been great at that and can link up all the 5 players.
If Isagi can successfully bridge the gap between Shidou and Rin, he will be selected. Depending on the scale, his future rests. If he barely manages to make it work, then it will be a hard decision. But, if Isagi manages to foresee and use these two beasts completely, then he will definitely be selected.
Let us not forget the other players. In Blue Lock manga 102, Chigiri will be trying his best to stop Isagi; and so will the rest of the non-elites on the field. How they each perform will decide their futures but we don’t think fans are much invested in side characters.
