The official Twitter account of Shonen Jump has revealed a new illustration by Boichi, the illustrator of the Dr Stone manga.

Senku (Dr Stone) and Ace (One Piece) come together to showcase their awesomeness in this gorgeous illustration.

Chapter 181 of Dr Stone features the illustration after its cover page. The artwork shows Luffy and Akainu peeking out from a time machine device in the background.

The characters have crossed different timelines and history arcs to meet.

This is not the first time that Boichi has drawn a One Piece character. His connection with Ace goes a long way back as he had illustrated a new spinoff series of One Piece called One Piece Episode A. It focused on Ace, Luffy’s brother.

Boichi has also previously drawn the fight between Zoro and Mihawk in the East Blue Saga with his unique touch to it.

Are more collaboration projects on their way? Will Boichi release another One Piece spinoff? Or will Eichiro Oda surprise us with a Dr Stone reference?
