The latest chapter has riled up the Naruto and Boruto fandom. They’re very excited for Boruto 49 spoilers to drop and the stakes seem very high this time.
Look at the two images. This looks like Pain Invasion once more. Pray for Konoha village. Not to mention, this time the opponent is far stronger than Pain.
Kashin Koji is such an amazing memory of Jiraiya – the hair technique in particular! Unfortunately, both of them had to be defeated. We sincerely hope Naruto gets to meet him. Jiraiya’s death was extremely hard on him and maybe meeting Kashin will make him a bit happy.
Naruto and Sasuke will be going against Isshiki and no one knows what might happen. Will Naruto or Sasuke die in the battle and this will help in Boruto finally realizing his true potential or how will it unfold?

Boruto 48 Recap:
Chapter Title – “Time Limit”
Kashin Koji keeps fighting but his attacks have no effect. Isshiki is much stronger now than he was as Jigen. Koji uses Art of the Raging Lion’s Mane but its in vain. Isshiki’s Sukuna Hikona is simply to crafty. Isshiki states that his body is too weak to handle his power and can only stay alive for few more days.
Isshiki reveals that Amado is using Konoha to kill him, meaning Koji will lose. Koji is just a pawn. In Konoha, Amado is given citizenship. Amado casually reveals that the bomb on Shikadai is a fake. He then reveals that Koji isn’t strong enough to beat Isshiki – so Naruto and Sasuke will have to do it.
But he advices against it. Kawaki is the only target and Isshiki will come for him to plant the seed. He will probably dodge Naruto and Sasuke to come for Kawaki. So it is best to evacuate the village. Sai gets to it. Next, Kawaki has to be hidden somewhere with Naruto and Sasuke protecting him.
Koji now uses Sage mode to fight. He attacks with giant flame bombs but Isshiki easily parries. Koji uses flames to shield Isshiki’s vision. This limits his Sukuna Hikona, an ocular jutsu. Koji attacks a distracted Isshiki with a Massive Rasengan.
Isshiki escapes using Secret Jutsu: Daikokuten. Koji is crushed under pillars. Daikokuten allows Isshiki to store shrunken objects in a different timeless dimension and use then at convenience. Isshiki says that Koji’s pride was his downfall. Isshiki plans to kill Amado too, as he betrayed them both.
Koji summons a frog and escapes. Isshiki turns to Kawaki. At Konoha, Naruto forbids Boruto from fighting. Sasuke points out that they can die anytime for Konoha but Boruto isn’t ready yet. Suddenly a message arrives that an enemy has been spotted. Isshiki levitates over Konoha village.
Boruto Chapter 49 Release Date:
Boruto 49 Official Release Date is August 20, 2020. It is a monthly digital manga so the possibilities of Raws and Fan scans are not to good. You can read the latest chapters for free on Viz, MangaPLUS and Shonen Jump app.

Right now there are no spoilers available for Boruto Chapter 49. We are trying to get them but it’ll be a while before they appear. In fact, Boruto being digital, spoilers rarely get found. Still, we are on the lookout for any leaks. Visit our site regularly and we will keep you posted.

Boruto Manga 49 Predictions and Discussion:
Chapter 49 will probably have a direct confrontation between Isshiki and Naruto – Sasuke. Its like the Momoshiki fight once again, where the two heroes combine against the adversity. The other Jonins might or might not join, depends on the fight conditions.
Right now, Konoha is completely unprepared for Isshiki’s attack. Without much time, Ishhiki is like a cornered rat and his actions can be extremely harmful. Sai probably hasn’t managed the evacuation and Kawaki is still in the village.
So Isshiki can go directly for Kawaki. We can expect Boruto to join the fight as soon as he gets a chance. His power is inconsequential in comparison to Isshiki but its just Boruto’s nature to jump in headfirst. Kawaki will have to fight as well. Boruto 49 will probably dedicate a lot to battles. We expect Koji to show up again, maybe in Chapter 50. He has to recuperate and help Naruto.
Now let’s look at Isshiki. He will probably go after Kawaki directly, trying to avoid extra conflict. It is improbably that he will destroy Konoha just like Pain, but the posture right now is extremely similar. If that happens, we can expect other villages to step in.
Now we already know the future. Kawaki will have a seed; Boruto will have a seed. Naruto and Sasuke will be gone. Boruto will clash with Kawaki. The battle won’t happen until they’ve both developed their seed abilities significantly.
So from that, we can expect Isshiki to be the dominating force in Boruto Manga 49. We don’t think Naruto and Sasuke will die, but they might get captured on incapacitated. That will allow Isshiki to replant his seed. However, the change in Kawaki is still a mystery. We have no idea how that responsible, caring friend of Boruto will go rogue. We will find out soon.
