In chapter 51, Isshiki keeps beating up our protagonists and mercilessly attacks them. However, Naruto will not let us down. As a hokage, he will stop at nothing to protect the villagers and the people he loves.

[SPOILERS]

The raw scans and spoilers of chapter 51 are out. Boruto realizes that Isshiki cannot kill him; thus, he proceeds to kill himself. However, Isshiki won’t let him do so and tries to distract him by kicking Sasuke.

The distraction works, and in a split second, Isshiki breaks Boruto’s arm. Boruto is now incapable of harming himself.

The ball is now in Naruto’s court, and he successfully delivers. He has figured out a way to defeat Isshiki. However, that plan has a chance of backfiring.

Naruto unlocks a new Kyuubi form. The power that he unlocks is so great that it blows Sasuke away. The new form looks stunning, almost as if he has combined himself with Kurama.

Just like a Kyuubi, nine protrusions arise from his back. His face also looks a bit different with black marks. The transformation as a whole looks stunning.

If Naruto had this power up his sleeve, then why didn’t he use it till now? The answer lies in Kurama’s warning. Kurama warns Naruto that this new form might need a “sacrifice” on his part.

Naruto replies that he will protect the villagers no matter what. The sacrifice that comes with using the Kyuubi form is debatable.

There is a high chance that Naruto might not die. However, he may lose some of his powers or be heavily injured. A chakra illness that is hinted at in the spinoff Sasuke Retsuden might be a possibility.

On the other hand, the creators behind the manga might just be throwing a curve-ball at us. In place of Naruto, Sasuke might be the one sacrificing himself.

Boruto might get injured, but massive damage is improbable in his case, especially since Isshiki won’t let him be harmed.

Since the chapter is titled “Sacrifice,” we can be sure that one character will lose something. However, who that will be is still kept under the covers. Let’s wait for the next chapter and find out!
