The Konohagakure shinobi were shocked to see another boy having the same Karma seal as Boruto. As Boruto feels a sudden pain in his mark, we are taken back to the past of Kawaki.
It seems Kawaki had a rough time in his childhood growing up under an abusive drunkard father. He was eventually sold to a person called Jigen. However, years of mistreatment made him very hostile to any new people he met.
After waking up, he becomes very reluctant to trust anyone thinking they are pursuers from Kara. However, this is soon interrupted when Garo makes his entry to capture this mysterious boy. It is revealed that the “Vessel” is none other than Kawaki himself!
