In Boruto Episode 211, we saw how the Leaf Village’s security and sensory forces were intercepted by none other than Koji. He had been able to steal some sensitive data from their archives and had been reporting to his higher-ups about Kawaki and his development.
There are rising suspicions that he’s working with Amado for some ulterior motive. The next episode, Boruto Episode 212, will slowly uncover these true motives and hopefully, we’ll see the real culprits.

Boruto Episode 212 Release Date
Boruto Episode 212 will be getting released on the 22nd of August 2021. It’s following a weekly release and no delays have been announced.
Boruto Episode 211 Recap
Here’s what happened in the previous episode:
- The Genin had started pursuing a strange man who was sniffing around in the village. We later find out that the strange man is Kashin Koji.
- Koji has been keeping a close watch on Kawaki and his actions won’t have been noticed if he hadn’t tried to penetrate the archives for sensitive info.
- Chocho, her teammates, and Kakashi begin pursuing this man and follow his trail.
- Later, Kakashi realizes that it was Koji’s plan all along to make them follow his trail uselessly. He heads to the archives because that’s where Koji is.

- Kakashi has a brief confrontation with the spy, who decides to make an escape and gives up on the intel he’s gathered.
- We see Koji returning to Kara’s hideout and we get glimpses of his interactions with Amado, which seem to hint at something.
- Are Koji and Amado planning to kill Jigen? Jigen is already in such a weakened state after his intense fight with the likes of Naruto and Sasuke.
Boruto Episode 212 Spoilers and Speculations
From the preview at the end, we can surmise that Amado’s real intention is to murder Jigen. We don’t know the exact reasons yet. The title for the next episode is called Amado’s Perfection.
We learn that Amado has been building weapons secretly to defeat Jigen, with one such weapon already finalized with the help of Koji’s intel.
