Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 218 Preview

As mentioned above, the title of episode 218 is “Partner” and it covers source material from Chapter 54 of the Boruto manga.

A preview has been released that tells us more about the upcoming episode in detail.

Spoilers are going to be shared down below, so please close this article if you don’t want anything spoiled.

Episode 218 starts with Isshiki choking Kawaki. There are only a few minutes remaining before Isshiki’s life energy runs out, thus he needs to plant karma into Kawaki soon.

Isshiki implants karma into Kawaki, thus securing his vessel. But something is wrong. Why is the karma fading off from Kawaki’s body?

It seems like Kawaki has tricked Isshiki by creating a shadow clone of him. Isshiki was the one who mocked Kawaki trying to be a shinobi and now the same thing has come in handy to defeat him.

Isshiki’s body starts to crumble since his time is up and he has expended all of his life force. This is the end of Isshiki for real. Kawaki is overjoyed to see him go.

Just when everything seemed to fall into place, Boruto attacks Sasuke and destroys his Rinnegan with a kunai. But why?

Now that Isshiki has been dealt with, Momoshiki is the only Ohtsutsuki remaining on Earth, and what better time to attack than when the strongest warriors are exhausted.

Momoshiki manifests itself inside Boruto because of his low running mana. Boruto’s body is vulnerable right now and thus gave Momoshiki easy control over him.

Sasuke and Kawaki team up to stop Momoshiki from going on a rampage. Sasuke promised Boruto that he will stop him if he goes on a rampage.

So this is Sasuke doing his duty. Kawaki comes with a plan where they try to make Momoshiki absorb mana so that Boruto can take control of the body.

Around the end of Boruto Episode 218, we see Naruto and Kurama chattering. Naruto seems to be sharing his last words knowing is going to die soon, but there is a twist to it?

What do you think will happen next? The English subbed preview has been shared above and the episode will air soon. So stay tuned and read our article on Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Season 3 while you wait.
