The much awaited Chainsaw Man anime is here. Fans have been very eager about its release and thanks to MAPPA Studio, we finally have the first season. In this article, we are going to discuss a lot about Chainsaw Man Season 1 Episode 1.

Chainsaw Man is a manga written and illustrated by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It began with a strong impact due to the sheer amount of gore and action demonstrated in the very first episode. In fact, many people thought that it is somewhat inappropriate for the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
For a short while in the beginning, the progress of the series was stunted a bit and people thought this might become another dumpster fire like Elfen Lied.
But then the series turned a serious corner and brought us some of the best content that the magazine ever experienced. The sales speak for themselves to be honest.
The first part of the manga has already concluded, which fans loved. However, Fujimoto Sensei has more in store for us. And thus, we currently have the second part of the manga being published.
Although, it has been moved from Shonen Jump magazine, which is offline, to Shueisha’s online manga portal, name Shonen Jump Plus.
We are all highly excited for Chainsaw Man Season 1 Ep 1. As we said, the first chapter was an absolute blast. This means, some amazing content will be adapted in the very first episode. And since this is the gritty MAPPA studio, we expect no punches to be pulled.
Chainsaw Man Season 1 Episode 1 Release Date
The first episode, that is, Chainsaw Man Season 1 Episode 1, is coming out on October 12, 2022. A late start, but we don’t mind the wait. Just a couple more days until it airs. This will be the beginning of Denji and Pochita’s journey.
Now, we already have the release timings. In Japan, the series will air Wednesdays, at 12 AM JST. A masterpiece of midnight. As for international release, it will be somewhere along the same time. Us fans just have to wait a little bit and all the information will be here.
There are so many sources to watch the anime. Unfortunately, most of them are illegal and will end up bleeding the industry. We recommend everyone stick to the legal methods of watching the anime, which we are listing below for you.
In Japan, the series will be broadcasted on TV Tokyo. Amazon Prime and Netflix will air it in Japan and some other regions. In Asia, there will be Animax, AniOne, Bahamut, Bilibili, and Catchplay.
Outside Asia, all regions can resort to Crunchyroll to watch it. And then, there is Hulu, which will air it in the United States.
Chainsaw Man Season 1 Episode 1 Spoilers
Since it is the very first episode, we will give out the premise of the anime here. Next episode onwards, we will be sharing manga spoilers in this section. Anyways, the first episode will probably be titled “Dog and Chainsaw”.
Our protagonist is Denji, a boy born into poverty. We start the series with him being in a 38 million yen debt, which has been passed down to him. He sells his organs and kills devils for a living. The only thing he has in this world is his dog Pochita, who helps him hunt devils.
Denji’s dream is to have a simple but happy life. However, the reality is an absolute slap in the face. As our hero dreams, he has no idea that fate has nothing but chaos stored for him. In a job gone south, Denji is murdered by a devil!
This is when Pochita merges himself with Denji, granting him the power of the Chainsaw Devil. And thus, the Chainsaw Man is born. Over the course of this season, he will embark on a lot of amazing adventures and meet a lot of interesting people.
And the most interesting one will turn out to be Makima. Denji gets an instant crush on her, and she hires him as a dog. Makima introduces Denji to a whole new level of Devil hunting. And through her, he also meets Aki and Power, two very interesting people.
