Claire And Leon Re-Unite in Plot of New CG Anime, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness
Resident Evil, the franchise that unites action and horror lovers, is now back with a new CG anime adaptation, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. With two fan-favorite characters ready for action, the anime will start off with a brand new plot!
This time, the attacks will be intense and the mystery even darker. This is the first anime adaptation of the franchise and we are all excited to see what the series holds for us.
Netflix has revealed an all-new visual for the upcoming Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness anime. New stills of Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy are also revealed!
Claire and Kennedy have both appeared for the first time in Resident Evil 2 (1998). Leon is a police officer and they will be teaming up once again to get to the root of the zombie outbreak and the mysterious virus that is causing it.
Netflix Releases Stills Of Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness Anime
Netflix has also revealed the official synopsis of the anime. This story takes place in 2006, as Leon Kennedy is on a case to investigate a White House secret file leak. However, Leon and his team are attacked by a horde of mysterious zombies.
Claire Redfield on the other hand comes upon a mysterious drawing that seems like it depicts a victim of viral infection. Claire starts her own investigation and when she visits the White House, she shows Leon the drawing. Both the drawing and the zombie must have some connection!
The English and Japanese Cast members of Leon and Claire have also been revealed.

TMS Entertainment and Quebico are producing the anime. The new 3D CG anime series will release on Netflix in 2021, and we can’t wait to know the connection between the zombie outbreaks between two distant countries!
