‘Classroom of the Elite’ Season 2’s Trailer Teases Cruise Ship Special Test
Students of Class 1-D may have managed to pull through the Deserted Island Special Test, but they’re not ready for what Classroom of the Elite has planned for them next.
Season 1 showed us the excited first years of the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing School being tricked into a special survival test while on a luxury cruise. They were dropped on a deserted island and given the bare minimum of points to persevere through the week.
Everyone thought the nightmare was over after a week, but no. The faculty came prepared with yet another test aboard the cruise ship.
Classroom of the Elite anime’s second season will cover the novel’s Cruise Ship Special Test arc and has revealed a promotional video teasing it.
The video also previews the opening theme ‘Dance in the Game’ by ZAQ for the coming season on July 4, 2022.
Unlike last season, Kei Karuizawa will have much more screen time as she’s one of the major characters in this arc. She and Kiyotaka’s relationship dynamic will be explored in depth while hinting to fans about the pair’s future as possible allies or enemies.
The video previews how students from all four classes are mixed up and divided into groups. Each group must identify the other group’s VIP person to ace the test.
Among all of this, the video also gives us a glimpse of Kiyotaka’s true nature as a person who sees others only as tools to exploit. His goal is to win, and he doesn’t care much about anyone else.
Moreover, the franchise has also unveiled a new key visual featuring Kiyotaka and class 1-C’s Kakeru Ryūen.
