Colored Cover Page of Yasuke’s New Manga by Satoshi Okunishi Unveiled!
Yasuke, the anime depicting an Afro-Asian samurai, had attracted considerable attention when it was released by Netflix.
Its popularity hasn’t died down one bit since its release and it is expected that fans will want more from the series. Thus, enters our savior, the Yasuke manga.
If you are a fan of the anime then you already know that the sword fighting sequences coupled with magical powers are awe-inspiring. I can’t wait to see how these elements will be illustrated in it.
The anime Yasuke is back with a manga adaptation by Satoshi Okunishi in the Monthly Spirits issue, and a new colored cover page has been revealed as well!
It began serialization on 27th July 2021 and will be available in the Monthly Spirits issue 9/2021.
The visual features a bright red stroke behind Yasuke which reminds me of Ouroboros with the snake-like face almost touching its tail.
Ouroboros usually associates with the cycle of life, when one ends something new starts. Thus, Yasuke, who tried to put his “Black Samurai” days behind him, is once again filled with determination and the will to protect!
The whole vibe of this poster is sending shivers down my spine, and I’m sure yours too!
The anime streamed on Netflix in April with a brilliant storyline! The animation studio MAPPA gave life to the project while LeSean Thomas has directed it.
The anime merely consisted of six episodes, leaving fans hungry for more, which led to the creation of this manga!
Some speculate that the following season could adhere to the same trend, with the anime being released first and then the adaptation; or it could merely continue as a manga.
Emmy Award-winning music composer and producer, Flying Lotus, teased fans by saying that they have big plans for Yasuke. This is going to cheer you up!
Netflix’s Original Anime, Yasuke’s, Music Composer Hints at Season 2!?
I know that most of us can’t tame our excitement and so I’d suggest you watch the anime if you haven’t already while waiting for the Monthly Spirits issue!
