Shinnosuke Nohara or “Shinchan” as his mother likes to call him is the 5-year-old son of the Nohara household who finds happiness by bothering his parents, friends and neighbors.

Created by Mangaka Yoshito Usui, the manga series saw immense success with Shin-chan’s hilarious ordeals and was adapted into an anime.

The anime broadcasted on TV Asahi in 1992 and is still ongoing to this day creating a huge fan base with over 30 dubbed versions worldwide.

TV Asahi announced news of a special collaboration between the HipHop duo group Ketsumeishi and Crayon Shin-chan TV anime.

Ketsumeishi’s Ryo-san and Okura-san will be seen in their anime character form appearing especially in the 7th November episode of Crayon Shin-chan titled “Ora Tachi Ketsumeishi (N) Zo.”

Ketsumeishi has currently performed the opening theme song “Superstar” which was seen in the anime from October 3rd.

The duo was earlier involved in making the theme song for “Crayon Shin-chan Bakusui! Yumemi World Dai Totsugeki” anime movie named “Yumemy World Daisatsu”, “Tomoyo-Kotomo forever …” etc.

TV Asahi interviewed the two on their feelings while voicing their own characters. To this, Okura-san replied by saying,

It was more difficult than I expected. I found out that various people are putting their power and skill into the scene for several tens of seconds.” And Ryo-san said “I realized that even a small scene will take a long time.

Watching the anime from the perspective of voice actors made me respect them more.”

The anime airs every Saturday at 4:30 JST, so make sure to mark your calendars so that you don’t miss out on this epic collaboration.
