Crunchyroll to Stream English Dub for Chainsaw Man this Month
Much like we predicted, Chainsaw Man’s debut broke the internet and shook the otaku community completely. However, we weren’t ready for anime to outdo our expectations in every manner.
The anime checked every box to become this year’s greatest hit after just a single episode. I can only imagine what would happen as the series progresses.
Unfortunately, there’s still a subsection of otakus who still haven’t been able to enjoy it. You guessed it right, it’s the infamous dub watchers.
Crunchyroll has finally announced that it will begin streaming English-dubbed episodes for Chainsaw Man on October 25, 2022.
Along with the debut, the company has also revealed a phenomenal dub cast for the anime:

Since the dub will premiere a day before the anime’s third episode, it will lag by two episodes, so be very careful of the spoilers.
Moreover, the anime will also be dubbed in Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Russian. The company will reveal more cast members later, so stay tuned.
Episode 1 was all about Denji’s backstory and how he ended up as the Chainsaw Man. In the end, we were introduced to Makima, leader of the Public Safety Devil Hunters association.
Like firefighters and police, Public Safety Devil Hunters is a government-sanctioned organization formed to eradicate devils. It primarily consists of humans, with a few exceptions like Denji, who joins it after being forced by Makima.
While the first was a spectacular display of bloodshed and Denji’s Chainsaw Man powers, episode 2 takes it up a notch. This one introduces some of our favorites, like Aki and Power.
Aki and Denji immediately form a not-so-friendly rivalry, and the latter finds Power annoying to be with. Denji only joined the organization due to Makima, sohaving to work with these two was a bother to him.

Do Denji, Aki, and Power get closer? As shown in the promotional videos, the trio eventually does warm up to each other.
However, I don’t want to reveal any spoilers, so I’ll leave the speculations to you guys. Do hit us with your theories in the comments.

Chainsaw Man is a manga series by Tatsuki Fujimoto that was serialized from December 2018-2022. The series is supposed to receive an anime series by MAPPA. A second part of the manga has also been announced
The manga’s plot revolves around Denji, an orphaned boy who has to work as a devil hunter to make a living and pay off his father’s debt.
However, his pet devil, Pochita is killed on a mission. Denji wakes up to realize he and Pochita have become a single being, Chainsaw Man. If he does not want to get killed, he has to join the government and continue hunting demons.
