Days Manga’s New Side Story to Serve as Both Prequel And Sequel to Main Plot!

Jin Kazama asks Tsukushi to a futsal game. Tsukushi, the timid protagonist of Days manga, had no idea that it would become a game that changes his life.

Days, the classic soccer manga, ended early this year, but fans are left longing for another glimpse at their beloved duo! Thus a brand-new side story has been revealed for the story that will focus on the more intricate details and background of the manga.

The Days manga will be receiving a new side-story titled Days~fragment~. The mini-series will be launched on 9th June in the 28th issue of the Weekly Shonen Magazine.

With 9 chapters in total, the upcoming side-story will focus on the past and future of the main story.

The original story begins when Tsukishi starts high school. The upcoming chapters might focus on the middle-school days of Tsukoshi and how Jin Kazuma gained his reputation.

Fans would also like to know what happens to the protagonists after the last chapter. The manga might shed light on the next steps of Seiseki high school.

Days has also inspired a 24 episode anime series that premiered in 2016. However, many fans were left dissatisfied since many episodes don’t follow the manga and are anime originals.

Five OVAs have also been released for the manga. The manga won the 40th Kodansha Manga Awards in the shonen category and is a well-known work of the sports genre.

Fans are joyous at the news of the new chapters, and we can’t wait to see Jin and Tsukushi playing together again!
