Solo Leveling Episode 8 will be delayed by a week as a recap episode will take its place instead. After facing Cerberus, Sung Jin Woo has realized how difficult it would be to enter the Demon Castle and he would do it later after he levels up some more times.
In the last episode, we saw the news of six C-Rank Hunters being killed inside a dungeon while a D-Rank and an E-Rank Hunter survived those horrible scenarios and reached the Hunters Association. Chief Woo was not interested in it at all as he thought that the lower-ranked hunters ran away from the place and that is how they survived while others got killed.
But when it was revealed that Hunter Sung Jin Woo who was also involved in the double dungeon and one of the hunters who died is Hwang Dongsuk, the brother of an S-Rank Hunter Hwang Dongsoo then Chief Woo decided to take this seriously. Jin Woo was at his home and was reflecting on things that just happened and how he had no hesitation about killing those hunters.
He was in a relaxed mood and enjoying some drinks but the system was detoxifying him so he could not get drunk at all. He then said that there are so many unknown things about the system and how it picks up things. After that Yoo Jin Ho called Jin Woo and called him out to discuss some things. Solo Leveling Episode 7 Recap
Jin Ho then asked Jin Woo to let him accompany him on 19 more missions as he wanted to form a Hunters’ Guild and a Hunter needs at least 20 missions on his tab to form it. Jin Woo then gave it a thought and they discussed how things would work. Then Yoo Jin Ho offered the 30 Billion building he was going to use as his Guild’s office to Jin Woo but Jin Woo again declined and walked out of it.
S-Rank Hunter Hwang Dongsoo whose brother was killed in that dungeon incident was looking for Jin Ho and Jin Woo and decided to kill them as soon as possible his schedule allowed. Jin Woo was back to his daily quest training but this time he decided to give it a push and there was an extra reward for the extra effort. He chose a box and there was a key inside that box. The key belonged to Demon King’s Castle.
He realized that he could treat her mother if got the ‘Elixir of Life’ from the Demon Castle. Jin Woo then opened the S-Rank Gate without thinking much but he was skeptical a bit about it. As soon as he entered the dungeon there was a three-headed monster waiting for him. It was the guard of the Demon Castle, Cerberus. Cerberus gave quite a tough time to Sung Jin Woo and if he had not used his health potions and recovery methods he would have died very easily.
He also drank Kasaka’s venom so he could build a resistance. Cerberus’ ability gave some real hard time to Sung Jin Woo but when it ended paralysis started to work and this gave Jin Woo an opening. The fight then went for some time but Jin Woo was victorious but he was seriously injured too. Defeating the guard gave him another key and also the pattern to create the Elixir of Life. Jin Woo realized that this quest was quite hard for him and he would come back another time after he levels up.
Solo Leveling Story
The story is centered around the protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo, who is the weakest hero of all. He is an E Rank Hunter (the lowest rank) and is often humiliated and looked down on by his peers. The world where many gates to dungeons have opened gave rise to monster appearances. Sung Jin-Woo is determined to support his ill mother and sister.
During a dungeon raid, Sung Jin-Woo and other hunters find themselves in a bad situation, and Jin-Woo is the last one left standing after a mysterious event. He found out that he has acquired a very unique ability to “level Up” as if he were a character in a video game. Jin-Woo becomes a “Player” in a world filled with dungeons, monsters, and other entities beyond human comprehension.
