Laios was kind of scared of these armored knights as they were the ones who killed them Laios for the first time in the battle. When they entered the secret chamber, they thought that the knights were controlled by some other being but it was just another knight in a shiny suit. Their first raid was unsuccessful and they had to retreat as the knights were still fighting even after their body parts were separated.
The next time, Laios made a plan and went for the inside room while the others distracted the knights. After fighting the knight inside and analyzing its moves, Laios figured that Mollusk was controlling those armors and not some magic. It was a shellfish-like creature and then they cooked it with soup and oyster. Laios also got a new weapon from the knight he fought.

In the third episode of Delicious in Dungeon we saw that they moved one floor down with the help of a secret gate. The gate was the entrance of the armored knights’ room and this took back Laios down memory lane when he was killed by those knights. They thought the knights were not going to attack but soon they were outnumbered and had to retreat to the outside to save themselves.
Then they made a plan as they thought the knights were controlled by some magical being from the inside room. Laios decided to enter the room while the rest of them fought the knights. Laios discovered that there was only one knight inside that room and upon fighting him he realized that the suits were not controlled by some magic but by some creature who can imitate human-like movements.
Laios then showed Mollusk to the others and this is how they got their food in the last episode. At first, they were skeptical but the food turned out to be tasty and Mollusk tasted like shellfish and oyster. Also, Laios’ weapon got destroyed in the fight so he took the sword from the inside room and also made a new friend living inside that sword.
