Having tracked down the shadowy little demon, Tenjiro and the gang of Demon Slayers will spend the seventh episode of the third season figuring out how to kill it and free themselves from the demons’ emotional grip.
Tanjiro was thrown off by Genya’s demonic appearance in the previous episode. Then he did the math and realized that they couldn’t kill Hantengu the way they did Gyutaro—by cutting off all of their heads at once. Tanjiro then inquired as to Genya’s appearance and requested that he tend to Nezuko.
Then he left to track down the other demonic presence he had felt in the forest. We eventually realized that the genuine Hantengu was just as elusive as a rat. Genya failed twice to kill it, and another demon was about to launch a devastating attack. Genya’s origin story was also revealed.

Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 6: Summary

His mom was attacked by demons one night and then she turned evil and started killing everyone in the house. Genya, who along with Sanemi, was the only survivor of the attack, falsely blamed his brother for the death of their mother.
Only one happy memory of his brother’s remains in Genya’s mind. The moment Genya was sure he was going to die, Tanjiro stepped in to save his life. Then, Genya was hit by a sphere attack head-on, shattering his body into a million pieces. Fortunately, he has the ability to regenerate some of his body parts. Tanjiro is about to pursue the fifth demon.
