Don’t Toy with Me Miss Nagatoro is an anime about a kouhai who constantly teases her senpai to decrease his social awkwardness. Her treatment borders on bullying, but she secretly likes her senpai.
The ‘bullying your crush’ trope has been put to play in the series, and the loud and boisterous Nagatoro executes her part well. A mostly unnamed senpai has to live his life while bearing the unpredictable pranks of Nagatoro.
The official website of Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro has posted the first trailer for the anime. The anime will premiere in April 2021 on Tokyo MX, BS11, and MBS.
Nagatoro’s mischievousness is clearly shown in the new promotional video. Her first meeting with Nao (the senpai) is also shown.
She teases her senpai about his drawings and calls him a pervert. She leaves no stones unturned to frustrate him and drive him into a corner. However, her cute side is also exposed when she slips up and goes too far.
The Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro manga is serialized in the Magazine Pocket manga by Kodansha. It is also licensed by Vertical for release in North America. Its 9th volume was released on 9th November 2020 in Japan.

Telecom Animation Film is producing the anime. Sumire Uesaka is performing the opening theme of the upcoming anime.
Nao-san drew a manga about a typical prince and princess, but soon his fantasy shatters when Nagatoro enters his life. Nagatoro’s teasing has her affection hidden behind it, and slowly the senpai starts to realize it too.
How will this awkward and funky relationship prosper? Will the senpai be able to grow out of his awkwardness and start confronting his feelings?
