Dr. Stone Ch. 208: Senku Ushers in the Digital Age with Computer and Bank
In chapter 208, the race to build the stone world’s first computer is finally over. As Senku ushers in the Digital Age, the hopes are high, but the final destination is still far away.
We all know about the danger that looms over the Kingdom of Science, as the mysterious “Why-Man” threatens our heroes at every step of the way. But to get to this mysterious antagonist, who is up on the moon, Senku needs a spaceship.
And from the progress made in the latest chapter, Senku’s dream space voyager is inching closer to reality.
The latest Dr. Stone chapter titled “Science Transcends Humanity” brings quite many big leaps for the Kingdom of Science. The first was the invention of the computer for carrying out complex calculations, and the second being the establishment of a bank using the said computer.
Yuzuriha and her team of skilled artisans made this computer by literally pouring in blood and tears by slaving away day and night to make the magnets required for this beast of the machine.
The chapter also organized the first-ever “Stone World: Mathlympics Tourney,” where the geniuses on the Science team pitied their brains against the computer only to bite the dust.
The unlikely tournament winner was none other than Magma, who pulled off an array of complicated calculations using the computer.
Additionally, Team Senku can also upgrade the current version of this computer to do even higher levels of computation like planning a trajectory for a spacecraft. Something that the Kingdom of Science desperately needs.
With every new chapter, Senku and his team are getting closer to the moon. Very soon, we will get to know about Why-man’s intentions.
