Everything was fun and games in Dr. Stone till the trouble regarding Stanley grew so out of hand that only a pseudo-suicidal plan could save them.

Thus, the only way left for humanity to survive the evil clutches of Stanley was to be petrified once again! The same disaster that happened a few thousand years ago has just been repeated in chapter 191.

Why is the Whole World Petrified Again!?

Stanley and his followers have no intention to show mercy to Senku’s team, even though Dr. Xeno is being held hostage.

They have finally caught up to Senku’s team in Araxa, and there is no way out. The only way to escape is a new beginning.

There might be some plan that is already underway, because of which Senku is confident that they will get revived.

The medusa that was placed in North America was activated by none other than “Whyman.” Joel exploited the regular interval radio transmissions of Whyman to activate the medusa.

The beam will slowly cover the entire Earth, and everyone will be turned into stone once again.

Will the Petrification Work?

When Whyman had petrified the whole world, plenty of medusas had been used. Innumerable petrification devices had rained down on Earth.

However, the Kingdom of Science only possesses a single device. We are not sure if the device will have enough juice to cover the whole world.

We should also keep in mind that the petrification beam takes 10-15 minutes to cover the Earth. Senku and the others will still have that much time to keep fighting. They might even come up with a last-minute plan to save themselves.

How will Everyone be Saved?

Another 3,700-year time gap is out of the question. The best bet we have right now is that there some strategically placed Nitric acid vials will start working after everyone is petrified.

The revival fluid will only drop on someone from Senku’s team. The person, in turn, will revive the other members except for Stanley’s army.

The next chapter is likely to be spent reviving everyone. The medusa’s credibility is yet to be seen. No matter what, chapter 191 ended with one of the biggest twists, and chapter 192 will have too many queries to answer.
