Dr Stone Season 2 Episode 2 Recap
Episode 2 starts with Senku distracting Homura using his H2O bombs. Homura leaves her place and Gen, Magma, and Chrome’s team leave for their mission with full power. Kohaku goes to fight Homura so they can trap her.
But the plan fails as Homura was a gymnast when the world was normal and her flexibility is on par with anyone. Kohaku can not trap Homura but our genius scientist Senku already had a new plan ready. We see his new invention ‘Flashbang’.
This science weapon got Homura but Kohaku was also affected and can’t see anything. Senku tries to catch Homura but Senku’s physical strength is very less compared to Homura and she easily escapes using her gymnastic moves.
Homura starts following after Gen and the team and catches them up pretty soon with her fast moves. But she didn’t notice that Senku put the powdered stone on her hands and shoes while trying to catch her. They followed those traces and tries to catch Homura again.
But after some time, Homura notices the powder and wash it off in a river. But Now Senku plans to trap Homura from both sides and talks to Gen in Morse code. Gen says to chrome that can he set up the antenna on a tree so he can talk to Senku.
Chrome does the same but that antenna was a fake and Homura falls directly into the trap. Ginrou and Magma destroy the tree with a single blow and Homura can’t escape now. After trapping Homura, Gen and the team continues their mission and reach the place where they wanted to place the cell phone.
In between, they counter various stone statues of warrior-like young people. They assume that the revival process is slow and these statues are left to be revived again. Magma suggests if they were to attack them later why don’t just destroy them now but Gen stops Magma and says that Tsukasa is doing the same type of thing and we have to follow Senku‘s path.
They place the phone under the Senku’s grave but someone from the Tsukasa army with high hearing ability notices them and attacks them with arrows. They somehow managed to escape. For more, we will have to wait for Dr Stone Season 2 Episode 3.
