Merus has finally went ahead and sacrificed himself in the process of saving the universe and buying time for Goku to achieve Ultra Insinct, only the upcoming Dragon Ball Super Chapter 64 spoilers will tell us if Goku will make it happen and activate ultra instinct.
The rules of Angels are absolute, which means they cannot be biased and take someone’s side in a battle. Whether it’s evil or good, an angels actions must not be biased and that is why by taking Earth’s side in the fight against Moro, Merus has signed his death sentence.
Merus finally disappeared in the last chapter and the last panel sees Goku super angry and ready to strike. According to Merus, Goku is almsot at the brink of achieveing Ultra Instinct and now that Merus has disappeared, maybe this will trigger the new power to harvest in Goku’s body.

The early raw drafts are out. It seems like Goku gets a new form in the upcoming chapter. In the raw drafts we have for now, we see that Whis and Berus are very surprised.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 64 Official Release Date
DBS is a monthly manga series, which means one chapter of Dragon Ball Super manga gets released every month and this week’s chapter 64 will be officially released on September 19th, 2020.
The raw scans get released by 13th and the scanlators start translating the chapter so the English scans are available for everyone to read. So the spoilers usually arrive one or two days before Dragon Ball Super raw scans get released.
Solo Leveling 119 and My Hero Academia 284 will also be releasing next week so if you are a fan of them then you should check them out.
Before we move on to the predictions and discussion section, let’s do a recap of Chapter 63.
Dragon Ball Super 63 Recap:
The title of the last chapter was “Merus Resolve”.
Merus arrives at the battlefield and Agent Jaco is confused to see him arrive there. Jaco still thinks of Merus as a Galactic patrol member and doesn’t know about his real identity.
When asked by about the reason of Merus arriving on Earth, he replies that he is there to complete Son Goku’s training. Jaco soon realizes that no everyone injured has disappeared from the battlefield.
Merus transported them to a safer place where Dende can heal them. Thus starts the battle between Moro and Merus. Moro is soon to realize that Merus is a deity as he doesn’t have any life energy and he is obviously not an android.
Merus uses his staff to fight against Moro and from the looks of it, he is having the upper hand in battle. This is no new news since he is an angel. Berus and Whis are also present and Berus is annoyed like always.
Dende starts healing them and the first one to be healed is no doubt Goku. Berus and Whis start moving towards Bulma’s place and they Berus soon realized that they are missing Merus.
Goku gets healed and as soon as he stands up he starts asking about Moro. Dende tells him that he is fighting an angel and Goku soon realizes who that angel is.
Even Goku knows that if Merus fights Moro for real then he will soon fade away.
Goku rushes towards the battlefield where Moro vs Merus is heating up. Goku arrives at the battlefield and starts engaging Moro but gets pushed away as he is no stronger than before.
Merus replies that Goku is very near to acheiving ultra instinct. So Moro tries to use his hand and copy Merus’s abilities but fails. Merus decides to take care of this annoying ability of Merus and uses his sealing ability.
Merus explains his reasoning of fighting Moro and how he has found new sense of Justice and wants to save this universe. The battle rages on and soon Merus starts fading away and Goku is very sad to see this.
With his last words, Merus tells Goku that he will reach Ultra Instinct soon and once he does this time, his energy will be very stable and he will lose to no one.
Goku is very angry and that is where the last chapter ended.
Dragon Ball Super Manga 64 Discussion And Predictions
Merus has gone and it’s not a small thing. An Angel just disappeared and all because of him fighting for Earth. Goku is thankful to Merus and angry towards Moro at the same time.
Goku will finally achieve ability to use Ultra Instinct at will and as Merus mentioned, this time it will be stable and his energy will be stronger than ever. If we are to take Merus words then once Goku has leveled up, he will have strength equal or greater than Moro and will defeat him for good.
So Moro arc is coming to an end? Or there will be more complications in this fight? What about Vegeta? Author will not just let Goku finish all for good and be Vegeta the side character again.
Vegeta needs to come back stronger and make a proper impression in this fight or even defeat Moro. It will be a treat for everyone to get it translated and that is why everyone is eagerly waiting for DBS S2 to get released.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 64 spoilers will showcase Goku vs Moro the whole chapter while Dende heals Vegeta and the others. Moro is going to get destroyed in the upcoming chapter for sure but there is no way he is getting defeated that easily.
Goku will need Vegeta’s support for sure and it’s a good thing that Moro will not be able to copy anyone’s abilities now.
