The news came from the official Twitter pages of Dragon Ball Super and Shueisha Mirai Bunko sharing that Dragon Ball Super Super Hero was getting a light novel adaptation. In light of the approaching release date of the film, the production companies decided that it would be best to launch another text associated with the project. Authored by Sui Ogawa, the Light Novel would be published by Shueisha Mirai Bunko. Further, the launch date of the text has also been announced.
Plot Details!
As per the official synopsis of the movie, Dragon Ball Super Super Hero follows the story of Goku and the Saiyans’ fight with the Red Ribbon Army. Way back in the past, this organization was disbanded by Goku and his team. But the surviving members have returned, and they now form another group to call upon a war. This time, they have created even stronger Androids who will be stepping up on the battlefield.
Goku, Gohan, and the rest of the Saiyans will fight Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 and bring down the Red Ribbon Army yet again. As of now, the proper plot of Sui Ogawa’s text has not been confirmed. But fans believe that the LN would follow the same storyline as the one in the movie. The light novel would also cover flashbacks and origin stories of the members of the Red Ribbon Army. But readers are also expecting that the movie would end on a cliffhanger, with the rest of the plot left for the LN to cover.

According to the updates, the light novel of the movie is ready to come out this year itself. It was revealed that both the light novels would come out on the same day. Thus, Super Hero Gets Light Novel will launch on April 25, 2022. Moreover, the novel would launch in North America in the Summer 2022 slate. Furthermore, the film will release on April 22, 2022.
