Dragon Ball Super Teases New Power for Vegeta and Frieza’s Return
Dragon Ball Super is going to crack on with the new Granolah the Survivor arc. Chapter 68 will be the first chapter to introduce the supposedly new main villain of the arc in detail.
We are here with the full summary of chapter 68. Read of your own volition because there are some major spoilers and shockers in this article!
As we have already established in our previous post, Granolah is out for revenge. His race has been destroyed by Frieza and his followers, the Saiyans.
Frieza is already dead, so the only ones he can take revenge on are the existing Saiyans, Goku and Vegeta. However, Granolah has no idea about their existence yet.
1. New Fighting Style for Vegeta
Goku is seen training with Whis in his Ultra Instinct form. He tries to imitate Whis’s attack style and makes multiple images of himself.
However, Whis soon kicks the real Goku to the ground and tells him to find his own fighting style rather than imitating him.
Beerus explains that Goku is just at the base level of UI and that the Grand Priest’s Ultra Instinct is even greater than that of Whis. Still, Goku has more room to improve through training.
Beerus then asks Vegeta if he is interested in achieving UI, to which Vegeta replies that he wants to overcome Goku’s strength through another way.
Beerus then implies the existence of techniques other than UI that are possessed by the Gods.
Apparently, this new technique needs one to be “gentle to the heart,” but Beerus refuses to unfold any more information. Beerus then tells Vegeta to steal it selfishly, and Vegeta follows him out.
Dragon Ball Super Chapter 68 Reveals Granola’s Origin and Motive
2. Is Frieza Alive?
Elsewhere in space, Granolah hands over Seven-Three to Elec. Elec buys Seven-Three while claiming that in this era, information and money are the biggest weapons.
When Granolah asks for his next job, Elec announces that Frieza has returned. Because of this event, the universe has changed, and he does not have any more jobs for Granolah.
Granola is shocked initially, but he comes back to his senses and asks about Frieza’s whereabouts. Elec has Granolah kicked away because of his persistence.
Elec then reveals his true motive behind mentioning Frieza’s name. He knows that Granolah is hungry for revenge, and he might get killed in his quest, thus preventing him from becoming stronger than Elec’s underlings.
Granolah, on the other hand, has already realized that he needs to get stronger to avenge his race.
Is Frieza actually alive, or is Elec just manipulating Granolah to get him killed?
The Oracle Fish talks in his sleep,
“The balance of the 7th universe is changing…soon, the strongest fighter of the universe will be born…”
Oracle Fish
Who is this strong fighter? Is it Granolah, Goku, or Vegeta, or is Frieza really coming back from the dead?
