Dragon Ball Super’s 2022 Anime Movie’s Announcement Leaked before Goku Day!
If you have been getting butterflies in your stomach just by thinking how many anime films have been declared this year, get ready for another one!
Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball Super needs no introduction. Even if you don’t know any anime, you must have known about Goku at some point or the other. This crazy shonen manga with new powerups every two chapters has been reigning over the hearts of otakus for decades!
Toei Animation’s European website displayed an article headline which went: “Toei Animation Marks Goku Day With Surprise Announcement of New Dragon Ball Super Movie in 2022.”
The headline is no longer available on the website and the link now redirects to a 404 error text. Thus the article has been removed as soon as it was detected by the authorities, proving that it was a mistake on the part of the staff.
The article was reportedly scheduled for publication on 9th May, but it was revealed early due to a technical error. Rest assured, there is a huge possibility of the movie being officially announced soon!
9th May is Goku Day, which commemorates the Dragon Ball series’ long run. Thus, it makes sense that such an announcement would be reserved for a special day. However, it looks like someone is up for an earful. (Yikes!)
