Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit – Season 4 Release Date and Trailer
The popular slice-of-life anime, Encouragement of Climb, is returning to our screens with a brand new season next year.
Encouragement of Climb has to be one of my favorite anime series. It has a unique ability to tell stories wonderfully, despite its episodes being half the length of normal animes.
Mainly after Aoi and Hinata exchanged their secrets in their final episode, fans are dying to find out what they were as soon as possible.
Many were expecting to find out in a new movie, but we were pleasantly surprised when they announced a new series instead.
Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit, the new Encouragement of Climb anime project, will premiere in 2022.
Season 4 of Encouragement of Climb was initially teased back in September 2019. While some fans believed the new project would be a new season, many thought it would be a movie.
After all, all there were barely any details surrounding the project. Luckily for us, we’re getting a new season, that too, in less than a year.
Along with the release date, a new teaser was also released, with the animation quality proving exactly why this anime is so popular worldwide.
In the trailer, the girls are seen mountain climbing and taking part in activities like boating, running, and hiking.
We’re also introduced to a new character, Koharu, the president of the mountain climbing club. She will be voiced by none other than voice actress Emiri Iwai.
The final cast will be:
Name | Role |
Kana Asumi | Hinata Karaue |
Nao Tōyama | Honoka Kurosaki |
Yōko Hikasa | Kaede Saitō |
Yui Ogura | Kokona Aoba |
Yuka Iguchi | Aoi Yukimura |
Emiri Iwai | Koharu |
To be honest, I can’t wait to find out what Aoi and Hinata’s secrets were while watching their friendship grow even stronger.
About Encouragement of Climb
Encouragement of Climb is a slice of life manga series written and illustrated by Shiro, published in Earth Star Entertainment’s Comic Earth Star magazine in 2011.
The story revolves around Aoi Yukimura, a shy young girl who prefers to stay inside rather than go outside. One day, she reunites with her childhood friend, Hinata Kuraue, who loves mountaineering.
The two decide to go climbing and adventure together to see the sunrise they saw when they were younger. Throughout their journey, they meet other girls who share their love for the outdoors and adventure.
