With over 30 anime films and 18 seasons, its popularity is well-deserved. It certainly lives up to the “magical girl” genre with its pretty girls, cute animals, magical artifacts, colorful kingdoms, and monstrous creatures.
If 30 films weren’t enough, here’s another one to add to your never-ending watchlist. Tropical-Rouge! Precure the Movie: The Snow Princess and the Miraculous Ring will be coming to Japanese cinemas on October 23rd, 2021.
The film will cross over Tropical-Rouge! Precure and the earlier Heartcatch Precure! series and the official trailer has been released.
The film takes place in the snowy land of Shantia, with Manatsu and the other pretty cures invited to the land by its princess Sharon.
All peace is interrupted during the princess’s crowning when mysterious ice monsters threaten the safety of Shantia, causing the borders to be sealed.
The trailer and the visual highlight the characters of the Heartcatch Precure! series—who will appear in the film—and features that anime’s opening song “Alright! Heartcatch Precure!”
The film’s theme song is titled “Shantia ~Shiawase no Kuni~” (Shantia ~Land of Happiness~).
Since Shiho Terada, the musical composer is returning from the Tropical-Rouge! Precure series, I doubt we’re in for a disappointment!

Leaving the best for last, princess Sharon will be voiced by the talented actor, Marika Matsumoto.

The Pretty Cure Series is a Japanese magical girl anime franchise created by Izumi Todo and produced by Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, Asatsu-DK, and Toei Animation.
Every installment has different characters but basically follows the adventures of magical girls fighting against evil forces.
The teen girls transform into their magical selves (known as Pretty Cure) with the help of a legendary artifact. With the assistance of mythical fairies and other creatures, they fight the villainous forces invading the planet.
