One Piece in collaboration with Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma came up with a spin-off manga for the guy who knows how to satisfy the gourmand Luffy is.

You guessed it right. This special spin-off manga is centered on Sanji and his various cooking adventures throughout the manga. Needless to say, this is a story we didn’t even know we needed so badly.

At first, the manga was released as a one-shot in July 2018, but the popularity it gained forced the creators to extend it into more chapters.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Sanji released its fifth chapter based on a soba stall cook-off that Sanji had during his early time in Wano Country.

It also features Franky, Usopp, Brook, and Robin, who help Sanji win the competition against a trickster soba stall.

Being an ace chef, Sanji noticed how a famous soba stall provides poor-quality noodles to the poverty-stricken crowd while charging them the full rate.

Disgusted by the mentality and malpractices, Sanji challenges the stall owners to a cook-off which he eventually wins at the end of the chapter.

However, the way he wins and proves himselfis something you’ll understand only after reading the chapter.

The chapter explains how Sanji opened up the soba stall that we see him operating in the main timeline and how the booth became so popular.

Honestly, after ruining the finale of Shokugeki no Soma, this is an excellent way for writer Yuto Tsukuda and illustrator Shun Saeki to make up for the mess.

The manga is also quite refreshing to read and gives us a lot of detailed context about how things happen with Sanji. Not to forget, the manga serves as a small treat for all Sanji stans.

Look for it; I left all of it at that place.” These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!

Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. His diverse crew is joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.
