The last episode of Fruits Basket Second season ended with an announcement of the third and final season for the Fruits Basket anime series which will air in 2021. The final season will be titled as Fruits Basket The Final and will air on TV Tokyo, TV Aichi, and TV Osaka.
Fruits basket is written by Natsuki Takaya which ran from 1998 to 2006 in Hana to Yume magazine. Sequal manga Fruits Basket: Another from 2015 to 2018.

The series was first adapted in 2001 and received a reboot in 2019. The first season of the new anime series was simulcasted on Crunchyroll and Funimation. The second season of the fruit basket anime series aired in 2020 and the fruits basket season 3 will air in 2021 completing the series.
The anime is being developed by studio TMS Entertainment and is being directed by Yoshihide Ibata who previously directed FLCL Progressive. The fruits basket final season will entirely cover the manga.
