Fullmetal Alchemist to Announce New Project in Less than a Week on Youtube!
Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the bigshots in the anime industry that no one will forget no matter how many new releases come by.
Whether it is Edward getting triggered over the word “short” or Roy Mustang’s bickering, I can never get tired of Fullmetal Alchemist.
Thus in this sense of never-ending nostalgia for the series, even a mere hint of an upcoming project is enough to lighten me up.
2021 is the year that marks the 20th anniversary of the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise. On 12th July a Youtube live stream will be organized to focus on the series and announce its future projects.
The upcoming Shounen Gangan issue that will be released on the same day will also reveal information regarding a project for the series. We have the link for you right here!
However, we still don’t know what kind of project it is going to be. Maybe a sequel series or manga? Or an OVA? Or even better, a movie! Anything that projects our beloved steampunk series is welcome.
Fullmetal Alchemist already has two major anime adaptations as well as two anime films, yet another original film seems like one of the best things ever! Hiromu Arakawa’s return is bound to make fans overjoyed.

If you ask me, I would love to see adventures in Xing or maybe more about Van Hohenheim. Olivier Mira Armstrong, the badass sister of Alex Louis Armstrong is also a catchy character for a small sequel!
What would you like to see in this project? Maybe your favorite character will get the chance of being the protagonist of their story in this upcoming project!
