Fullmetal Alchemist Turns 20! Author Reveals First Glimpse for New Manga
Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist is one of the most popular mangas of all time. The series has maintained its top spot on several online charts worldwide. With the series celebrating its 20th anniversary of serialization, there are all sorts of things lined up, much to fans’ delight.
The Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition had begun back in 2017 with a huge success. But unfortunately, the 2020 iteration of the event had to be canceled due to obvious reasons.
The event is all set to make its comeback this winter and it’s going to be better than ever.
The “Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibition RETURNS” event will take place at Ikebukuro Sunshine City, Tokyo in December 2021 and in Spring 2022 in Osaka.
The key visual for the exhibition is a new illustration of the original artwork for the Fullmetal Alchemist manga.

Details regarding a special Fullmetal Alchemist project will be released in the August Issue of Shonen Gangan.
The author is also releasing her previously unreleased one-shot “Blind Alchemist” along with the first volumes of “Hero Tales” and “Stray Dog” for free on the Gangan online app.
