Funimation Streams Hyotei vs Rikkai’s Epic Showdown Part 2 in English Dub
Nothing says “keeping you on the edge of the seat” quite like sports-related anime, and The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs. Rikkai delivers exactly that.
Part 1 concluded just before we could witness the highly-awaited tennis match between the schools. Thankfully, Part 2 swiftly picked up where it left off.
The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs. Rikkai had released on April 17th, but only now has Funimation finally come through with an English dub.
Funimation announced that it would begin streaming the English dub of The Prince of Tennis anime franchise, including this year’s The Prince of Tennis II Hyotei vs. Rikkai Game of Future OVAs on July 15th.
The Spanish and Portuguese dubs for the OVAs will be released later in August along with the Spanish and Portuguese subtitles.

About The Prince of Tennis
The Prince of Tennis is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Takeshi Konomi.
An anime television series animated by Trans Arts, co-produced by Nihon Ad Systems and directed by Takayuki Hamana, was broadcast on TV Tokyo from October 10, 2001, to March 30, 2005, spanning a total of 178 episodes.
The story centers around Ryoma Echizen, son of the legendary “Samurai Nanjiro,” who retired very early from his professional tennis career despite his undeniable talent.
At age 12, Ryoma begins attending Seishun Academy Middle School in Tokyo, Japan, and joins its boys’ tennis team.
The title of the series comes from Ryoma’s title, “The Prince of Tennis,” after winning four tournaments back in America before the events of the manga.
