Funimation to Bring Back Demon Slayer! Season 2 Releases Later this Fall
Just as we were getting over the Demon Slayer movie, an announcement for Season 2 came about. Although there is not a solid release date yet, we now know where we can stream it.
You have to be Patrick from Spongebob to not know about Demon Slayer. It is almost unbelievable to think about the fanbase the series has gained in such a short period of time. Fittingly, the franchise is on its way to becoming one of the most commercially successful anime of all time.
Distribution of anything Demon Slayer right now means big money. Knowing that, it’s no surprise where the next season of the anime will be.
Funimation will stream Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Entertainment District Arc. Season 2 of the anime is currently in mid-production and is expected to come out in Fall.
The upcoming season will adapt the Red Light District Arc from the manga. This arc follows our main characters teaming up with the Sound Hasira Tengen to take on an Upper Moon Demon.

Funimation had previously acquired the exclusive streaming rights for the movie. So, it was almost inevitable for Season 2 to go elsewhere.
There seems to be plenty of time before this comes out. If you are looking to avoid watching the whole series, check out the three specials which recap Season 1.
This arc, along with the Swordmen Village Arc, has been described as the series’ peak by fans of the manga. It is safe to say that even manga readers are excited about this one.
