Godzilla Singular Point is a new anime series that will be releasing in April 2021. Produced by Bones (My Hero Academia) and Orange (Beastars) and directed by Atsushi Takahashi (Blue Exorcist: The Movie, Doraemon the Movie 2017: Great Adventure in the Antarctic Kachi Kochi), it has been licensed by Netflix and will air in Tokyo MX. The teaser, uploaded on several of Netflix’s YouTube channels, was posted more than a month ago:

Here’s how Netflix describes the show:
“Next year, the king returns. Godzilla: Singular Point is an original anime series featuring character designs by Blue Exorcist’s Kazue Kato and a new Godzilla design from legendary Ghibli animator Eiji Yamamori.” which will centre on “the young geniuses Mei Kamino, a female researcher, and Yun Arikawa, a male engineer, as they take on an unprecedented threat with their companions.” Yamamori has previously worked on Princess Mononoke, The Wind Rises, and Spirited Away as the key animator.
There have already been successful Godzilla anime films: Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle and Godzilla: The Planet Eater, which were released by Netflix in 2017-2018.
