Golden Kamuy Season 3: Release Date, Theme Songs, & More

Historical Action Golden Kamuy is an anime adaptation by Geno Studio that premiered with two seasons from April to December 2018.

The show announced the release of the series’ season three at the franchise’s special event in Tokyo.

Saturo Noda’s series revolves around Sugimoto, who survived the Russo-Japanese war of the Meiji era.

He is now in search of the riches promised by the gold rush in hopes of saving the widowed wife of his now deceased comrade from the war.

After airing two seasons of the show, the 24th episode has left the fans longing for more.

The official website for the Golden Kamuy franchise revealed that the anime’s third season will premiere on October 5, 2020, at 11:00 pm on Tokyo MX, YTV, Sapporo TV, and BS11. The anime will also stream on Fuji on Demand.

The franchise’s website also revealed the show’s rock-genre theme songs.

Fomare will perform the opening theme song “Grey,” and The Sixth Lie will perform the ending theme song “Yūsetsu”.

For those of you wondering what the plot for the new season is going to be, this is what it looks like – Sugimoto and Tanigaki will continue their search for Asirpa in the Katafuto region while being chased by numerous foes.

Asirpa’s father’s motives and his history with her will also be uncovered.

The series consists of many story arcs that it is yet to finish since there is a lot to address throughout the series, which will hopefully be fulfilled during this new season.
