The Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1 Trailer Reveals the Film’s Release Date

Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh, a two-part original film series starring the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth on his solitary quest, has been announced for a year. And fans will no longer have to wait too long.

Netflix released a trailer for the upcoming film “Seven Deadly Sins: Grudge of Edinburgh Part 1” on Saturday. Tristan, Elizabeth, Deathpierce, and a new character join Tristan on his quest in the trailer.

“LEMONADE” by Hiroyuki Sawano and XAI will be the primary theme tune. Sawano, in particular, has previously composed music for the main storyline. The film will be available on Netflix worldwide on December 20, 2022.

The scene with Deathpierce reminds the series conclusion of Seven Deadly Sins. Deathpierce not only relinquishes his status as “Holy Knight,” but also departs for Edinburgh to recover the country. He wished to establish a human-only kingdom.

The movie’s cast was previously revealed, with many individuals repeating their parts from the anime. Here is a summary of the film’s cast:

The graphics and source material for The Grudge of Edinburgh may differ. However, the fact that the film’s story is also penned by mangaka Nakaba Suzuki and appears to be a direct sequel makes it a must-see.

Furthermore, the films would bridge a gap with the previously planned “Four Knights of the Apocalypse” anime series.

Concerning The Seven Deadly Sins

Nakaba Suzuki is the author and illustrator of the Japanese fantasy manga series The Seven Deadly Sins. During October 2012 to March 2020, it was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shnen Magazine, with the stories collected into forty-one tankbon volumes.

Elizabeth Liones, Princess of the Liones Kingdom, sets off on a quest to find the most heinous of crimes in the Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai). Meliodas (Dragon’s sin of Wrath), Ban (Fox’s sin of Greed), Dianne (Serpent’s sin of Envy), Merlin (Boar’s sin of Gluttony), Escanor (Lion’s sin of Pride), Gowther (Goat’s sin of Lust), and King (Grizzly’s sin of Sloth) are the names of the seven.

Ten years ago, all sinners were expelled from the Kingdom when they were falsely accused of the death of Great Holy Knight Zaratars. The Kingdom is about to be taken over by the corrupt Holy Knights, and Elizabeth must uncover the Sins and their commander Meliodas to save the Kingdom.
