‘Haikyu!!’ to Receive a Nostalgic One-Shot Trailing the Manga’s Finale
Haikyu!! has established itself as one of the biggest sports series of all time, so it’s fair to be a bit antsy in the manga’s absence.
Well, there’s good news for all of you sports manga fans as Haikyu!! has planned a special release in commemoration of its 10th anniversary.
This special project will follow the series finale, so you will have another chance to ogle at the boys and wish your ships come true.
Haikyu!! will receive a new one-shot manga on April 25, 2022. The chapter will be published in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. It will be a 19-page one-shot that will depict what our protagonists are up to in 2022.
It was announced in Weekly Shonen Jump No. 20 released today, but the one-shot of Haikyu !! will be published in the merged issue of Weekly Shonen Jump 21 and 22 released next Monday, April 25!
Please look forward to this magazine after a long absence! !!

The chapter will also receive a center color page.
The Haikyu!! manga had one of the most uplifting endings. It showed a time skip straight to the Karasuno team’s post-graduation situation. Hinata and Kageyama were seen as teammates at the Olympics.
A year later, they played on opposing teams in the World Championship. Our boys have been doing great, to say the least.
Who Is Better At Volleyball: Hinata Or Kageyama?
After the manga had ended in 2020, Furudate-sensei had released a few extra pages where Hinata, Kageyama, Kindaichi, and Kunimi could be seen having a beach volleyball session.
Will the upcoming one-shot have an extra fluffy plot like the extra, or will we get another shot of adrenaline through a competitive game? My bet is that it will be a chapter where we can see all the main characters interacting one last time.
About Haikyuu!!
Haikyu!! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. Its publication in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump began in February 2012 with 42 collected tankōbon volumes released.
Hinata Shoyo is a highly passionate boy who wishes to follow the steps of his idol, ‘The Little Giant’ in the field of volleyball. Hinata’s resolve is unbreakable as he faces gruesome defeat at the hands of the ‘King of the Court,’ a genius prodigy setter Kageyama Tobio in middle school. Hinata’s dreams take fruit as he enters high school.
He joins the declining volleyball team of Karasuno High and is appalled to find the very same Kageyama as his teammate. The story follows the revival of Karasuno High and the unity they maintain to pave their way for nationals.
