Another set for the Blue Jackals as Hinata marvelously spikes the ball into the opponent’s court! Fans are extremely hyped for the new set in Haikyuu Chapter 397.
Professional volleyball matches are Best of Five! So this means, the Jackals have to keep pushing and earn one more sets while the Adlers have to keep striving and win two more sets. The match is getting more intense by every chapter.
The Popularity Poll results are here! Nishinoya wins with 38k votes. Hinata is second with 33k votes, followed by Bokuto with 32k votes. However, Kageyama has fallen back to Position 5 with 21k votes.
Just like the current chapter, fans are wishing for Haikyuu Manga 397 to be completely filled with action and strategy. Due to the flashbacks, fans have been craving more volleyball. A chapter wholly dedicated to intense back and forth between the two teams is something all the Haikyuu fans appreciate.
Haikyuu is currently in its final arc. We are not exactly sure how long this arc will go on, but there is a chance it won’t see 2021. Chapter 397 will continue into the fourth set of the game and after maybe 20 new chapters, the game will end. There is a possibility that Haikyuu will end at that point but there is no definite news about that.
There are high chances of Haikyuu Season 5 getting released soon together with Dragon Ball Super Season 2, everything is only a possibility right now and nothing has been officially announced.
Haikyuu 396 Recap:
The Black Jackals earned a quick lead in Set 3. Despite a strong performance from the Adlers, they maintained their lead properly and have reached Set Point. However, Adlers are just one point behind. They can definitely catch up.
Sokolov’s serve is cleanly received. Miya sets it and using a combination attack, Kiyoomi spikes it hard. Wakatoshi bumps it but it goes out. Romero hustles the play and barely gets the ball in with his feet. His teammates feel his passion with just one word: Pega.
Hoshiumi spikes it to Hinata who manages to bump it. With Miya’s set, Bokuto slams it to Adlers court. Once more, Romero saves it and Wakatoshi spikes it off the blockers’ hands. With a great dive, Miya saves it and Hinata is there.
The ball goes to Hinata who assumes set pose. The spikers get ready. The Adlers get the blockers prepared, whilst watching for a setter dump. Surprising everyone, Hinata spikes it. He smoothly changes from setter pose to a left hand power spike. Hinata’s hit touches the court and the Black Jackals win the Set 3.
Lucio Kato watches the match and is amazed by Hinata. Everyone his impressed by his balance. Everyone thinks back to their memories of Hinata and his efforts for the game. With Set 4 beginning, Jackals have a shot at victory and Adlers have to stop them.
Hinata relives his love for the game and with that, Set 4 starts. Miya has the first serve and it’s a perfect hit to the Adlers court, winning a point for the Jackals. The game has one or two sets left – the party will be over soon.
Haikyuu Manga 397 Spoilers:
The chapter ended with ‘The party will be over soon’. Does this mean that this game will be the end of Haikyu? Is this a secret hint from the author? As we said before, if this game is the final game of the manga, then Haikyuu probably won’t see 2021.
Set 4 has begun and Miya has shot a fantastic serve. We believe his next serve in Haikyuu 397 will be bumped. This way, the Adlers won’t fall behind again. By now, they must be somewhat accustomed to Miya’s serves. So bumping them will come easier.
Haikyuu 397 will probably show the Adlers taking lead after a long time. We saw how great Romero is in this chapter. This might be a hint that Romero will get a flashback soon. We need more content on Kageyama as well. However, the chapter might be spent on pure gameplay as well.
Sokolov deserves a little more introduction. He had given a consistent performance so far and fans will love to see how this foreigner has reached where he is. Other than that, we believe we will have a great 1 on 1 between Hinata and Kageyama. Throughout the series, these 2 teammates have been great rivals as well. It will be very satisfying to see the conclusion to their arc.
How fast the game goes, will decide how soon we will know Haikyuu’s fate.
