Harry Potter, along with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley have been an integral part of our growing up years. As he celebrates his 36th birthday today, we have a reason to celebrate too! An eight book in the harry potter series. “Harry Potter And The Cursed Child” was released today.

Co-written by J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany, it is a sequel and the story picks up where the last installment deathly hollows left off, 19 years on. The Play based on the story also opens today in the Palace Theater in London.
All our loving characters are all grown up and the story revolves around the second generation of the potter clan with Primary focus on Albus Severus Potter, Rose Granger-Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy.

“It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.”
Q. Whether “Harry Potter And The Cursed Child” is a novel or a script?
A. Well, Two different versions of the script of the play are going to be published for us to read. J K Rowling clearly stated that :
“To be clear! The SCRIPT of #CursedChild is being published #NotANovel #NotAPrequel ?”
Q. Why is the play in two parts?
A. In director John Tiffany’s words, “It shares a scale and ambition with all the Harry Potter stories, so in order to do this justice we have decided to present the play in two parts.”
Q. Is there going to be a movie too?
A. As of now, there has been no such development but it really won’t be a big surprise if a movie based on the latest book is announced.
Q. Has J.K Rowling written the script too?
A. NO, but she has co-written the story from which the script is adapted from.
