Tomoki Izumi’s 2018 manga, “Mieruko-chan” is getting an anime, as announced by Kadokawa on Thursday.
“Mieruko-chan” is a horror comedy about the daily life of a high school girl, Miko, who suddenly became able to see a strange beings. Serialized on ComicWalker, the latest 5 volumes of the book will be released on March 22nd.

Izumi published an illustration to celebrate the animation:
Along with the announcement of the animation, two types of teaser visuals entitled “Visible Edition” and “Invisible Edition” were revealed. The teaser trailer was also released on YouTube, which you can watch here:
It will be directed by Yuki Ogawa, with series composition and screenplay by Kenta Ihara, character design and animation director by Chikashi Kadeka, and monster design by Makoto Uno. Animation production is handled by Passione.
