How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom Announces Season 2 for January 2022
Despite being summoned to another world to aid a kingdom in a war against the demon lord, Kazuya Souma does not flick his fingers to destroy the enemy army. Instead, he decides to help the kingdom with his economic policies.
From the start of How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom, one would think that the series will go the usual isekai route. While some of the tropes are still there, the series has been refreshing for the genre and will probably continue to do so.
The official website for How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom has released a promotional video to announce the second season of the anime. The second season will come out in January 2022.
The PV has Kazuya carry out his administrative duties as usual. We also get to see some wholesome scenes between him and Liscia.
The opening theme for the second season, “Real-Eyes,” will be performed by Inori Minase, and Ami will perform the ending theme “Lights.”
A visual was also released to commemorate the announcement.
The visual features Kazuya and Lischia in their regal attire.
Even with some of the isekai traps here, this series offers more subversion than any in the recent past. Kazuya the protagonist, is surprisingly likable as the story goes on and develops a good relationship with princess Liscia. Despite having a supposed harem, the story does not take that direction at all.

Given the abrupt way in which the story ended, a second season was almost inevitable. It’s just surprising how fast that happened.

His plans are realistic and do not include the hassles of war. How will this new administrative order turn out?
